2020 March SHB MBE Japan Training Program Report


2020 March SHB MBE(Master of Business and Engineering) Japan Training Program of Steinbeis University was held at Kanagawa Science Park from March 4 to March 13. KSP Inc. supported this program.

The Steinbeis University is a private, state-recognized university founded in 1998 in Berlin.
The training program is for students of Steinbeis University in order to study business management and marketing in Japan.

This time more than 30 German students in master course participated in this training program. And about 20 Japanese students of Tokyo University of Agriculture, Yokohama National University and Meisei University, and some Japanese company employees joined too.

The most important task was to attack and to try solving business issues provided by Japanese Companies in addition to learn Japanese culture, tradition and way of business.

The students presented their results at the final day, and defended themselves against many questions and comments from teachers and professors.

The training was held for 10 days by staying at Hotel KSP. The final ceremony held at Hotel KSP was a lively event that symbolized Japan-German exchanges. With the spread of the new coronavirus infection, the German team came to Japan and was able to finish the training without leaving any sick people.

KSP Inc. supported the implementation of the training from the preparation stage.

Thailand National Science and Technology Development Agency(NSTDA) visiting Kanagawa Science Park.

Mrs. Suwipa Wanasathop, Vice President of NSTDA and Dr. Nongnuj Muangsin, Assistant Dean of Faculty of Science, Chulalongkorn University visited KSP on 31th, January 2020.

NSTDA has managed Thailand Science Park, first science park in Thailand. Mrs. Suwipa Wanasathop is also director of the Thailand Science Park.
Many entrepreneurs have been spin off from Nongnuj Muangsin’s Research Laboratory (Department of Chemistry) .

Dr. Uchida, CEO of KSP, Inc. explained human resource development for entrepreneurs by KSP and introduced Hydrogen Energy related activities by Japanese companies.
Dr. Uchida visited Thailand Science Park where located in suburb of Bangkok one year ago.

BPPT visited Kanagawa Science Park2019.10.10

Dr. Ir. Hammam Riza, M. Sc., Chairman of BPPT(Badan Pengkajian Dan Penerapan Teknologi, Agency for the Assessment and Application of Technology, Indonesia) and Professor Eniya Listiani Dewi, Deputy Chairman of BPPT met Dr. Hirohisa Uchida, CEO of KSP, Inc. in Kanagawa Science Park on 10th of October, 2019.

BPPT is a member of ASPA(Asian Science Park Association).

The outlook of the Indonesian Science and Technology parks was discussed in this meeting.

A group visited Kanagawa Science Park from Yakutia Technopark

A group visited Kanagawa Science Park from Yakutia Technopark, Republic of Sakha, Russia on June 7.

Dr. Hirohisa Uchida, President of KSP, Inc. made a presentation introducing the Facility Outline of the Kanagawa Science Park and KSP’s Business Activities. In addition, KSP has signed MOU with Yakutia Technopark and has built cooperative relations in the business matching between Japan and Russia.

The members of Qingdao economic development zone in China visited Kanagawa Science Park

The members of Qingdao economic development zone in China visited Kanagawa Science Park on May 16.

Prof. Hirohisa Uchida made a presentation on the outline of KSP and explained about the background of Japan’s industrial development and the establishment of KSP, current state of investment, and university-industry-government collaboration in Japan.

The most important task was to attack and to try solving business issues provided by Japanese SMEs in addition to learn Japanese culture, tradition and way of bussiness.

The students presented their results at the final day, and defended themselves against many questions and comments from teachers and professors.

Mr. Shcherban Daniel of Far Eastern Federal University visited Kanagawa Science Park

Mr. Shcherban Daniel of Far Eastern Federal University (FEFU) visited Kanagawa Science Park on February 6. Mr. Shcherban Daniel met Prof. Hirohisa Uchida, President and CEO of KSP, Inc.. This is the second visit. We talked about promoting mutual exchange between Technopark KSP and the Russky Technopark in Far Eastern Federal University.
